1) We heard you cracked the entrances without coaching. Why did you choose not to go for coaching?
Ans. I studied in a convent school so had to attend classes from morn'n till evening. This left me with a little time for coaching. If I would have done any coaching It would have left me with little time for myself n self preparation.
2) How do you think no coaching has benefitted you? Any disadvantages because you took no coaching?
Ans. taking no coaching means that u have to refer 4 books at least to solve ur queries n form a logical basis....while at coaching there r teachers who sort out the best questions and explanation for students and guide them too.
But it's better to read 4 books n grasp the matter rather than studying a readymade booklet that coaching institutes provide. Plus nowadays coaching institutes demand a huge sum of money which I feel is inappropriate.
One benefit of coaching is that they make u regular in studies n give shortcuts....which r quite helpful in entrance exams where we r time bound
3) How did you plan your studies?
Ans. I used to be regular from starting....n used to spend more of my time in libraries. My mom also helped me to plan my schedule
4) Did you take any test series? Why?
Ans. no I didn't..... But I used to solve questions given in books especially designed for entrances... Like DC pandey n all....n also used to play online quizzes regarding subjects
5) What was your exam strategy?
Ans. my exam strategy was simple....first to be relaxed....solve easy questions first....n then go for difficult ones....but at the same time be aware of the time limit
6) What was your motivation for the profession?
Ans. medical profession is a selfless service......u have the power of changing Lives.....n giving life too....plus it's quite interesting to know abt one's own body
7)What is your advice for future aspirants?
Ans. i jst wanna say that stay calm n be regular.....coaching institutes n others can just guide u ....final result depends on ur hardwork!!
