Which books did you use othr than NCERT?
Physics: Class notes (though I would recommend NCERT exercise and examples).
Biology: Just the NCERT textbooks, and Class notes
Chemistry: NCERT, Class notes
Any other books (like magazines or previous year books):

Physics:No books other than ncert.. just the lecture notes given by our sirs at the coaching institution.. (i did refer sl arora for semiconductors...it was helpful..)
Biology: Ncert only.. not even lecture notes..
Chemistry:well.. again ncert only to be honest..

GK : Manorama Year Book and Arihant GK Book (Only concentrate GK only 2-3 weeks prior to AIIMS and JIPMER)
I also used MTG magazines and ARIHANT previous year books for JIPMER, CMC, KEAM and also MTG previous year for AIIMS and JIPMER.
To be honest, I suggest you always cross check answers when you have doubt as I have come across many errors in Dinesh and Arihant.

I also used to work out about 150+ questions from each chapter for each subject which would almost always be previous year questions
